Chemstat® G-118/9501 is a distilled glycerol monostearate (minimum 96% monoester content) obtained from fully hydrogenated vegetable oil.
Chemstat® G-118/9501 is intended for external use in polymer systems requiring surface treatment of the additive directly onto resin pellets. Chemstat® G-118/9501 is also recommended for internal use in flexible PVC applications, general use in olefins as an antistatic agent, and in EPS applications as a processing aid. Recommended use level: effective at levels of 0.2% to 0.5%. Chemstat® G-118/9501 is approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (US-FDA) for indirect food contact under 21 CFR 184.1324.
