EXOfos PT-A is an anionic surfactant belonging to the group of phosphoric acid esters.
This ester is based on an alkylaryl phenol ethoxylate (styrenated phenol type) and is offered as a triethanolamine salt. At room temperature, EXOfos PT-A is a viscous liquid. Its 5% aqueous solution has a pH in the range of 7.0 to 8.0. The product exhibits very good solubility in water and organic solvents. The active substance content in the commercial product is approx. 97%, i.e. the active substance concentration level in the solution is high compared to other anionic surfactants. The surfactant is used mainly in the agrochemical industry.
