Roflam 6 is a reactive halogen-free flame retardant intended for plastics.
The product inhibits the combustion process in the solid phase, forming a charred layer on the surface of the material, which restricts the access of oxygen from the surroundings and thereby limits the combustion process. Thanks to the phosphorus-nitrogen synergy (the product contains both elements built into its chemical structure), the intumescent coatings formed provide extremely effective protection, enabling compliance with stringent flammability criteria.
