Chemal CSA-10

Chemal CSA-10 is a nonionic surfactant belonging to the group of ethoxylated fatty alcohols, INCI name: Ceteareth-10. This product is based on a high-molecular-weight cetyl and stearyl alcohol. This chemistry can be used in industrial applications for formulating defoamers and textile auxiliaries, and is also widely used in the personal care market. This product is also exceptionally effective at emulsifying essential oils, which are commonly used in household, industrial, and institutional (HI&I) hard-surface cleaning. This 10-mole ethoxylate is a solid that is practically colorless and 100% active. Chemal CSA-10 has excellent emulsifying and dispersing properties with a broad range of applications, primarily as an oil-in-water (O/W) emulsifier. This chemistry is also an effective emulsifier for mineral oils, where it forms a highly persistent emulsion due to its long carbon chain length. Chemal CSA-10 is readily compatible with anionic, cationic, and nonionic surfactants, which are often blended to achieve long-term stability in systems containing a high oil content.
