Chemal G-35/90

Chemal G-35/90 is a high-molecular-weight glycerol ethoxylate that provides excellent lubricating and emulsifying properties to metalworking and textile formulations.

Chemal G-35/90 is a high-molecular-weight nonionic substance manufactured from glycerin and an EO adduct. This product can be used to formulate soluble and semi-synthetic fluids for metalworking applications. In HI&I applications, it acts as a solubilizer and wetting agent in hand dishwashing detergents and is also used in laundry applications. It can also be used as a tackifier and viscosity modifier for hot-melt adhesives. Chemal G-35/90 is highly water-soluble, allowing its use in many water-based systems. It has a unique comb structure resulting from its natural triglyceride starting alcohol. This chemistry adapts to both soft- and hard-water conditions, and the high ethylene oxide content in the molecule increases foaming in cleaning products. Chemal G-35/90 has an HLB of 18.9 and is sold in 90% active form with a water diluent for easy handling. Chemal G-35/90 can be used as a primary emulsifier for oil/water emulsions and also provides additional lubricity based on its long-carbon-chain starting alcohol.
