Due to the presence of phosphorus, some Chemfac products, in addition to common lubricating properties, also exhibit excellent extreme pressure (EP) properties. Some Chemfacs also exhibit corrosion-inhibiting properties when neutralized with amines. Chemfac PC-099E is recommended primarily for synthetic and semi-synthetic formulations. Chemfac PC-188 is recommended primarily for straight oils, soluble oils and semi-synthetics.
