EXObit E-K40 is an amphoteric surfactant with very good emulsifying properties for asphalt.
It is a commercial product in the form of an aqueous solution with an active substance content of approx. 40 %. This agent is a particularly effective emulsifier for bituminous emulsions used as waterproofing. It enables the production of bituminous emulsions with a high degree of dispersion, i.e. strong fragmentation of asphalt particles dispersed in water, thereby obtaining a very stable product. EXObit E-K40 is also a strong thickener that allows the viscosity of the final product to be modified according to customer requirements.
