EXOcare®TEW Flakes MB (Cetearyl Alcohol, Ceteareth-18)

EXOcare TEW Flakes MB is a blend of chemical compounds with the INCI name: Cetearyl Alcohol and Ceteareth‑18.

The commercial product is available as a white or cream-colored waxy solid in the form of flakes. EXOcare TEW Flakes MB belongs to a group of products covered by the RSPO certificate under the Mass Balance model (www.rspo.org). This means that the palm oil used to manufacture the base raw material contained in EXOcare TEW Flakes MB comes from crops that do not contribute to the depletion of natural resources. Its production also respects the rights of people living in the regions where oil palms are grown. EXOcare TEW Flakes MB is used in the cosmetics industry, primarily as an ingredient in personal care cosmetics. It is excellently suited as an effective emulsifier and conditioner in cosmetics for washing and caring for the skin and hair. In a formulation it serves as an emulsifying base, especially in oil-in-water (O/W) preparations. It has high stability across a wide pH range. It can be used as a primary or secondary emulsifier in the production of a wide range of balms, creams and pastes. Its undoubted advantage is its ability to reduce the drying effect of anionic surfactants contained in the formulation. Thanks to its properties, it leaves the skin hydrated and covered with a delicate protective film.
