EXOdis PC185 is a blend of nonionic surfactants.
It is characterized by a high active substance concentration of approx. 99%. At room temperature, the product is a clear to slightly hazy liquid. It is readily soluble in water and lower aliphatic alcohols. The product's pour point is approx. -13°C. EXOdis PC185 is used in the manufacture of water-based paints and coatings, specifically white paints, as an auxiliary low-foam wetting agent. The product shows a synergistic effect in combination with commonly used polyacrylate-based dispersants, facilitating the wetting of pigments and fillers during the dispersion process. EXOdis PC185 is particularly recommended for use with hard-to-wet materials, such as talc or kaolin. In addition to improving wettability, EXOdis PC185 has a positive effect on the properties of the finished paint, such as viscosity, viscosity stability, and pigment compatibility after tinting.
