EXOdis PC418 (phosphoric ester)

EXOdis PC418 is an anionic surfactant with very good dispersing and wetting properties, used in the manufacture of water-based paints and coatings.

At room temperature, it is a viscous liquid with a pour point of approximately -11°C. EXOdis PC418 is very readily soluble in water. The product represents a neutralized form of EXOdis PC417 as an alkanolamine salt, with an active substance content of at least 97.5%. EXOdis PC418 is used as a dispersing and wetting agent in the paint and coatings industry. Its structure contains so-called anchoring groups with a strong affinity for the surface of organic pigments and carbon black. This effect directly results in the product's excellent dispersing and wetting properties. It is therefore particularly recommended for the manufacture of concentrates of the above-mentioned pigments.
