EXOfos PB-139 is an anionic surfactant classified among phosphate esters.
This ester is based on ethoxylated tridecyl alcohol and is offered in its acid form. At room temperature it takes the form of a clear to slightly hazy liquid. The product is characterized by an acid number up to the first inflection point in the range of 87 to 117 mg KOH/g and good solubility in water. EXOfos PB-139 exhibits emulsifying, wetting, lubricating, detergent and hydrotropic properties. It is also used in the textile industry and in the I&I (industrial and institutional) sector for hard-surface cleaning. EXOfos PB-139 also offers mild EP lubricity and emulsifying properties in metalworking products.
