EXOplast OTE2 (EO/PO block copolymer on glycerine)

EXOplast OTE2 is a nonionic surfactant intended for the paints and varnishes industry.

It is used as an additive to extend the drying time of paint. It is available as a colorless, clear liquid with an active substance content of at least 99.5%. It is well soluble in water and low aliphatic alcohols. It solidifies at temperatures below -20°C. Its main function is to adjust the drying time of the coating. In the formulation it prevents the paint from drying too quickly, extending the time during which it is possible to recoat and repair a freshly applied coating. EXOplast OTE2 also minimizes the risk of cracking in a freshly formed coating layer. The product is fully compatible with formulation components such as polymer dispersions, pigments and auxiliary agents. It does not cause any deterioration in paint stability during storage.
