EXOplast OTE4 is a nonionic surfactant intended for use in the paints and coatings industry.
A characteristic feature of this product is its ability to extend the open time of coatings. At room temperature, EXOplast OTE4 appears as a clear, viscous liquid with a yellow color. It has good solubility in water and in low aliphatic alcohols. Its solidification point is below -20°C. The active substance content ranges from 94 to 96%. EXOplast OTE4 is used as an effective factor regulating the open time of a coating during the drying process. It affects the behavior of the paint during application, facilitates spreading, and improves its flow. In addition, the product enhances the water resistance of the coating and improves the hydrophobicity of the formulation compared to formulations that do not contain EXOplast OTE4.
