Lauryl alcohol C12-C14, which is the basic component of the product, is a derivative of palm oil (a raw material of natural origin). This product is soluble in most organic solvents. Its density at a temperature of 25 °C ranges between 0.94 and 0.96 g/cm3. Viscosity is an important chemical parameter of propoxylated C12-14 alcohol. At a temperature of 40 °C it ranges between 37–45 mm2/s.
