Rodys OP is the sodium salt of naphthalenesulfonic acid–formaldehyde polycondensates, offered in the form of a dark brown powder.
The manufacturing technology of Rodys OP makes it possible to obtain a product containing trace amounts of free formaldehyde and naphthalene. Rodys OP therefore has no environmental classification and does not affect the content of free aromatic hydrocarbons in the products in which it is used. From a chemical and operational point of view it is the equivalent of Rodys O.
