Rodys R is an aqueous solution of polycondensates of the sodium salt of naphthalenesulfonic acid formaldehyde (NSF) with a dry matter content of 40 % and a low content of calcium and iron ions.
The production technology of Rodys R makes it possible to obtain a product that has no environmental classification and does not contribute to increasing the concentration of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in finished products. As a dispersing agent, it is intended in particular for the emulsion polymerization of styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR) and can be an alternative to Rodys K.
