ROKAcet CC6 MB (PEG-6 caprylic/capric glycerides)

ROKAcet CC6 is a non-ionic surfactant with the INCI name: PEG-6 caprylic/capric glycerides.

It is a glyceride of a mixture of caprylic and capric acid, ethoxylated with 6 moles of ethylene oxide. "Caprylic" as part of the INCI name means that the product contains caprylic acid (octanoic acid) as a fatty acid component (introduced primarily by an acylation reaction). At a temperature of 20÷25°C, Rokacet CC6 is a clear liquid with a colour of max. 150 on the Hazen scale. The product has a characteristic odour and exhibits good solubility. ROKAcet CC6 MB belongs to the group of products covered by the RSPO certificate in the Mass Balance model (www.rspo.org). This means that the palm oil used to produce the derivatives contained in the ROKAcet CC6 product comes from crops that do not contribute to the depletion of natural resources. Its production also respects the rights of people living in the areas where oil palms are cultivated.
