ROKAcet S7 is a non-ionic surfactant (INCI name: PEG-7 Stearate).
It belongs to the ROKAcet S range. The product is a derivative based on a mixture of fatty acids, primarily stearic and palmitic. At room temperature it takes the form of a thick paste or a white to yellow wax. Its saponification value is 92-97 and the pH of a 1% aqueous solution is in the range of 6.6-8.5. ROKAcet S7 forms emulsions in water and is readily soluble in alcohols and hydrocarbons. The product is resistant to alkaline environments.
