ROKAmid KAD/2A is a non-ionic surfactant with the INCI name "Cocamide DEA".
It is based on natural vegetable oils. It has the form of a clear or slightly cloudy light yellow to yellow liquid. ROKAmid KAD/2A is one of the most common co-surfactants, which has a number of very interesting application properties. It is used primarily as a rheology modifier, i.e. a thickener that improves consistency by forming so-called mixed micelles. Among the other ROKAmids of the KAD series, it exhibits improved thickening properties compared to ROKAmid KAD or ROKAmid KAD/1A. When mixed with anionic surfactants, it increases and stabilizes foam quality. ROKAmid KAD/2A is very effective even at low concentration.
