ROKAmid KAD/2A MB is a non-ionic surfactant with the INCI name 'Cocamide DEA'.
It is based on natural vegetable oils. It has the form of a clear or slightly cloudy light yellow to yellow liquid. ROKAmid KAD/2A MB is one of the most common auxiliary surfactants, which has a number of very interesting application properties. It is used primarily as a rheology modifier, i.e. a thickener that improves consistency by forming so-called mixed micelles. Among the other ROKAmids of the KAD series, it exhibits improved thickening properties compared to ROKAmid KAD or ROKAmid KAD/1A. When mixed with anionic surfactants, it increases and stabilizes the quality of foam. ROKAmid KAD/2A MB is very effective even at low concentration. ROKAmid KAD/2A MB belongs to the group of products covered by the RSPO certificate under the Mass Balance model (www.rspo.org). This means that the palm oil used to produce the basic raw material contained in the ROKAmid KAD/2A MB product comes from crops that do not contribute to the depletion of natural values. Its production respects the rights of people living in areas where oil palms are grown.
