ROKAmin K15P (ethoxylated alkylamine)

ROKAmin K15P is a nonionic surfactant belonging to the group of ethoxylated coconut amines.

It has an average degree of ethoxylation of 15 moles and a reduced content of metal ions. ROKAmin K15P is a liquid with good solubility in water and ethanol, acetone or ethyl acetate. Due to the presence of a double oxyethylene chain on the nitrogen atom, ROKAmin K15P combines the properties of both nonionic and cationic surfactants, particularly when used in an acidic environment. Thanks to its cationic nature at low pH, the ROKAmin K15P molecule is able to form a uniform layer on a metal surface, which gives it anticorrosive properties. In addition, the low ion content means that ROKAmin K15P prevents corrosion on metal surfaces even at higher temperatures.
