ROKAnol ® GT5 belongs to the group of surfactants of ethoxylated fatty alcohols.
The product belongs to the group of surfactants based on C9-C16 alcohol. Thanks to its special properties, it is a perfect substitute for the product C13 alcohol ethoxylate. ROKAnol ® GT5 is a liquid with a tendency to stratify. At a temperature of 40°C, the product acquires a light colour of 100 max. on the Hazen scale. The product forms slightly cloudy solutions in water, but is highly soluble in organic solvents such as methanol and acetone. The commercial product contains approximately 99% of active substance. Its cloud point is determined for 16.7% ROKAnol ® GT5 in a 25% BDG solution and ranges from 60-62°C. The product is compatible with non-ionic, anionic and cationic surfactants.
