ROKAnol ® GT6R belongs to the nonionic surfactants from the group of ethoxylated fatty alcohols with a chain length of C9 - C16.
The product is part of the ROKAnol ® GT range. The commercial form of ROKAnol GT6R contains about 100 % of active substance. The product has the form of a clear or cloudy liquid with a tendency to stratify, and solidifies at a temperature near 3°C. At 50°C it clears and has a light colour, i.e. max. 100 on the Hazen scale. The product is characterized by better hydrophilicity compared to ROKAnol ® GT3 or GT5. The cloud point of ROKAnol ® GT6R is in the range of 71 ÷ 73°C (in butyldiglycol/water solution). Due to its limited solubility in water it forms cloudy solutions. Owing to its special properties it is excellently suited as a replacement for ethoxylates based on C13 alcohol.
