ROKAnol® IT40/70 is a non-ionic surfactant belonging to the group of ethoxylated alcohols.

This product is used as an effective and efficient emulsifier in the emulsion polymerisation process. ROKAnol® IT40/70 is a highly ethoxylated (40EO) isotridecyl alcohol with an HLB of about 18. It is a light solution with a colour of 150 on the Hazen scale. It dissolves very well in water and in low aliphatic alcohols. The density of the product at 25°C is approx. 1.09 g/ml and its viscosity is approx. 1200 cP.
