ROKAnol® LK2 MB (Laureth-2)

ROKAnol LK2 MB is a non-ionic surfactant belonging to the group of ethoxylated fatty alcohols (INCI name: Laureth-2.) The product is part of a group of surfactants based on lauryl alcohol with a carbon distribution of C12-C14.

It differs from ROKAnol L2 MB (INCI name: Laureth-2) by its reduced water content (max. 0.1 %), which is why it is used primarily as a semi-finished product for the manufacture of anionic surfactants from the group of lauryl ether sulfates. (SLES). ROKAnol LK2 MB belongs to the group of products covered by the RSPO certificate under the Mass Balance model (www.rspo.org). This means that the palm oil used to manufacture the base raw material contained in the ROKAnol LK2 MB product comes from crops that do not contribute to the depletion of natural resources. Its production also respects the rights of people living in areas where oil palms are grown.
