ROKAnol MT7E is a non-ionic surfactant belonging to the group of ethoxylated fatty alcohols with a carbon chain length of C8–C18.
The product is a liquid with a colour of up to 150 on the Hazen scale at 40 °C. ROKAnol MT7E is highly soluble in water. The HLB value for this product is approximately 13. The commercial product contains over 99 % active substance and solidifies at a temperature of approximately 15 °C. Thanks to its excellent detergent, wetting, dispersing and emulsifying properties, ROKAnol MT7E is used as a base surfactant in liquid and powder detergents, dishwashing products, household and industrial cleaning agents and hand-washing products. The product can be used in the presence of oxidising and reducing agents and in hard water. It is active in cold water, in acidic and neutral solutions and in dilute alkalis. ROKAnol MT7E can be used in combination with other non-ionic components and in mixtures with anionic and cationic surfactants. In combination with alkyl sulphates and alkylaryl sulphonates it exhibits a synergistic cleaning and washing effect.
