Rokolub 50-B-10 (PAG)

Rokolub® 50-B-10 is used as a base oil or additive for lubricant formulations.

It is water-soluble. The ISO VG viscosity grade of the product is 10. It has a kinematic viscosity at 40 °C in the range of 9-11 cSt and is characterized by a high viscosity index: VI~180. Rokolub® 50-B-10 is characterized by a high cloud point of 71 °C and a high flash point >180 °C. It is used as a PAG-type base oil classified in Group V for the production of synthetic lubricants, as well as a finished product. It maintains fluidity at temperatures below -40 °C, allowing for good low-temperature properties. This makes the product weather-resistant and usable without temperature limitations, especially where anhydrous lubrication systems for machinery and mechanical equipment are required. Inverse solubility at higher temperatures allows the formation of a durable film on the surface of the machined metal, making the product extremely useful in metal heat treatment formulations as a cooling and lubricating fluid.
