It is used in the retanning and filling process of chrome-tanned leather. The product is an aqueous solution of an acrylic syntan. It is a viscous clear liquid, light yellow to light brown in color. It is completely water soluble and mixes well with all anionic synthetic tanning agents, auxiliaries, and vegetable tanning agents.
