Roksol N87 is a low-foaming, non-ionic surfactant used in the tanning industry.
It is used for soaking and degreasing hides at any stage of the tanning process. The product takes the form of a homogeneous liquid, ranging in color from colorless to light yellow. It shows excellent solubility in both cold and hot water. It is also soluble in methanol and ethanol, kerosene, gasoline, acetone, carbon tetrachloride, and mineral and vegetable oils.
