Roksol STR is an anionic lubricant used primarily in the production of chrome-tanned leather for gloves and other clothing.
The product is a mixture of anionic emulsifiers and chlorinated organic compounds. The commercial product is a homogeneous, viscous brown liquid with an acceptable level of turbidity. In water it forms milky emulsions and has good resistance to acids, alkalis and electrolytes. It is resistant to oxidation and sunlight.
