Rotanina M70 is a synthetic tannin substitute with bleaching properties used in the treatment of chrome and vegetable tanned leather.
It is an anionic condensation product of formaldehyde-urea of phenolsulfonic acids and phenol. The product is a viscous, almost transparent yellow to light brown liquid. It mixes with water without limitation.
