Surmax®CS-555 is an alkali-stable surfactant designed for the formulation of low-foaming liquid cleaning concentrates containing high levels of caustics and/or other alkaline compounds.
Surmax®CS-555 exhibits optimal detergent properties and low foaming at low application temperatures (<60°C). This material is not resistant to metal surfaces and is therefore ideally suited for pre-plating and pre-coating applications.
